I met Natalie Portman when she came to my college to campaign for Obama in 2008. The people around her were being dicks saying that you couldn't get a picture with Natalie unless you signed the mailing list first. But she was awesome and said, "It's ok, I'm sure they'll all sign it."
After I got my picture taken with her I decided to see if she'd give me an autograph for the girl I was seeing at the time as Natalie was her favorite actress.
No one else was asking her for one so I was a little nervous she'd say no or that she didn't have time. But instead she said, "Of course. What's her name?" And wrote a personalized autograph for her. It was great knowing she was as nice as I'd hoped she'd be.
