Best balm to a tough divorce...

Quite a few years ago stood in line at our local bookstore to get David Sedaris to sign my copy of his book, "Naked" after a reading. After a long wait (where he took the time to have a real conversation with each person in line) I was up to bat and babbled "Your book was the only thing that saved me during my divorce!" He loudly called out "divorced woman here!" while signing my book and chatting a bit more with me. I was so excited that I didn't read what he'd written in my book until I'd left the bookstore. Opened the book to the page he signed and saw that he'd written "He made a BIG mistake." I love him for finding the perfect words to make me laugh and feel better about myself.
