He's the reason I was always a Toronto fan

Met Mats tons of times as I'm a swede as well. Used to collect Hockey cards as a kid (7-8 years old so back in '93) and he knew the owner of this huge hockey card shop close to where I lived. I used to spend afternoons after school trading, buying and looking at cards. Mats knew the owner of this shop and would regularly come in while he was in Sweden. Was always a nice guy and all the kids flocked to ask him questions and all. He's the reason I was always a Toronto fan rather than a Colorado fan, which a lot of other Swedish kids were due to Peter "Foppa" Forsberg. Also, Mats Sundin was nicknamed "Sudden" here in Sweden.
