I met Jack at Bonnaroo.

He was walking around and I randomly bumped in to him. I told him I was a huge fan of his music; we talked about Nashville mostly (I live there, he does too). He does a lot to give back to the city in unique ways. He has his own record shop, scouts local talent at dive bars and small venues, and I'm pretty sure (could be wrong here) most if not all of The Dead Weather members were local Nashville artists. He was extremely nice and engaging, not distant or arrogant at all. Jack White totally blew my mind...
