I never understood how she got famous. She can't act and is not pretty at all. You're right -- her daughters are ugly, especially TaterHead. I knew Ashton Kutcher would fuck her over and was glad when he did.
they are still people someone she knew might have died, maybe she got in to a fight with someone and couldn't be bothered, or she just literally had a day at work which involves repeating lines, getting criticism sometimes insulted from the director or co workers, and had already been asked and harassed by fans and you were one of them. She wasn't right to do what she did, but if you were hasseled by the same person everyday for years, you would stop responding too. All fans just turn in to people, little girl, old man. Just watching eyes. Give celebs the benefit of the doubt.
I give her a pass for this. She was making a movie and shooting an important scene. There are millions of dollars on the line, not to mention her performance that is going to be reviewed and judged. You have no idea what was on her mind. Plus it's kind of lame to use your kid to approach a celebrity for an autograph. I'm sure gets that all the time.
"her daughter looks like a fucking potato."....That made me laugh so hard I almost pissed myself!!!
I don't like defending celebs with bad behaviors. So, I agree that Demi should have told her bodyguard to make a statement why she wasn't acknowledging fans or giving autographs at that time. Some actors are method actors with tunnel vision and can only single task their work. The bodyguard should have made a statement to any people standing on the set.In defense of her behavior, I will say this. When actors are filming a movie on set, they are paid to be there as professional actors. To the actor, this is their workplace. Anyone not part of the production is technically invading their workplace while they are 'on the clock'. When actors are 'off the clock' and you meet them in a bar or restaurant or store, that's a different situation. When you show up to an actor's place of employment, you can't expect them to be congenial. They're there to focus on the work and get their job done professionally. In other words, you shouldn't show up to an actor's workplace and expect anything from them while they are working... just like you can't show up at anyone else's workplace and expect anything from them that is not related to their job.
"Off the clock" they are private citizens trying to enjoy themselves, so it seems like it's never okay to talk to them.
Off the clock, the rules are no different for celebs than for anyone else. Yes, acting on screen means putting your likeness out there. To that extent, they become a personality to be recognized. It goes with the territory. When they're out in public, they must acknowledge they will occasionally be recognized and spoken to. How they choose to respond is up to them. However, it is perfectly fine to speak to them just as you would any other person. They'll let you know if it doesn't work. As you would with anyone, be respectful and polite, use their real name and introduce yourself to them. Don't take photos unless they agree. And, always keep in mind they aren't the characters they portray.Personally, I find that I have little to say to most celebrities other than thanking them for their portrayals or music because I don't know them as a person. If they're willing to autograph something, that's great too. If they decline, that's also fine. However, when visiting their place of employment, if they choose not to talk to fans, this is entirely understandable. Fans should also refrain from trying to talk to them 'on the clock' because it could cost the production money.
So basically you were bugging her while she was at work; possibly rushed off her feet? Poor you!
To be fair, the bodyguard shouldn't have made a false promise either. She probably would've just gave up and sat back down with her mother if he said Moore said no.
Odd considering on the set of Nothing But Trouble she got along with everyone except Chevy Chase.
