Lectured at my college

Jesse Jackson gave a lecture at Furman University during my freshman year there. Only 50-75 people attended, and one of them was an elderly white gentleman who felt it was incumbent upon him to harass Rev. Jackson during the Q&A afterwards. Rev. Jackson stayed well beyond the end of the Q&A section and was very happy to shake hands and talk one-on-one with students at some length. Just a very nice guy.
