Met him at a strip club
Meet him one night before he was to play a show with A Perfect Circle opening for Nine Inch Nails (was an awesome show). Walked up to him and said I was a massive fan and was looking forward to the show. He meekly said thanks and that was that. Wasn't rude but didn't seem like he wanted to be bothered.

I set up an event for him a few years ago. He was extremely polite but not overly talkative. We figured out we'd both lived near each other as kids, and that was kind of goofy. He's super smart, and maybe a little shy. He was really nice to me, and I was just a peon.

My sister got to go back stage and do a meet and greet thing. When my sister asked him for a pic, he turned around and told her and her friend "You can take a picture of my back". Sister said he was a dick and wouldn't let them take a pic(which was the whole point of the meet and greet). He told them "take it or leave it".
