My mom used to work for the red wings, so I got to spend some time around a few of the players. One time, a little kid, like 7-8 years old, came up to Fedorov and asked him to sign something (I Think it was a hat). Fedorov looked down and said, in broken English, "No, you're just going to sell it on ebay." Kid cries, Fedorov walks away, image destroyed. Later though, the kid got to meet Yzerman (who was the exact opposite, personality wise), so faith in humanity a little restored.
