Oh, btw, how can anyone be dumb enough to believe this epic feud between Jimmy Kimmel and Matt Damon to be real. Kimmel routinely closed his earlier shows saying he ran out of time for Damon, much like Carson had to on several occassions with minor talent because the big guns ran long or the show was running hotter than planned. It was both a tongue-in-cheek sleight to Damon and also gave cred to his new show that he could keep an A-lister like Matt as a reserve interview when in fact it was nothing but a clever ruse. Matt Damon was never sitting patiently in the green room. Then Damon gets in on the act and the back and forth created a hilarious build-up over the years. And if you think Ben Affleck really was trying to smuggle Matt onto the show for real using an oversize raincoat, it might be time for someone to explain humor to you.
