I was once eating at one of Robert Irvine's restaurants, EAT! in Hilton Head, SC. Best meal I had ever had. As I was leaving I happened to see that Robert Irvine was just sitting at the bar. I went up and told him that I had watched Dinner Impossible many times and loved it.
I expected him to be a dick, but he wasn't at all. I mentioned that I was a film student and he actually went into his phone to find the contact information of a cinematographer he knew and gave it to me.
Nothing came out of contacting the cinematographer, but I was still super surprised how kind he was after seeing how intense he is on TV.
