Think he wanted to be left alone

Adam Savage was behind me in line at the post office a year ago. It was pretty clear that he didn't want to be talked to. Whenever I turned around, he pretended to be reading a sign about postage rates on the wall, so I left him alone. He also spoke very quietly when he was at the counter (presumably so that people wouldn't recognize his voice). He wasn't a jerk or anything, but just didn't seem to want to deal with fans while trying to mail something for Christmas, which i understand. He probably should have dressed differently than how he dresses on the show though, if he didn't want to be recognized.
