Omni hotel

Was working in a restaurant in a hotel and had to get change for the restaurant from the front desk. The clerk had asked me to walk this big tall man to a conference room. Come to find out it was Donald Sutherland. It was a 10 minute walk. As he was walking next to me, neither of us said one word to each other. Finally, about halfway there, I finally broke the ice and said, "how are you today sir? His response was a quick and nasty "fine". Was always a fan to that point. That was 1991. Haven't watched any of his movies since.
