I ordered one of Chuck Norris' books from his website as a gift for my best friend. There is an option to have it autographed for a higher price, so of course I chose that option.
I was then prompted by a message that said "Mr. Norris only personalizes autographs, please provide a few sentences about the person this book is for."
I provided about a paragraph of information about my best friend, how he's married and has twins, loves martial arts, etc.
Sure enough, when the book arrives at my friend's house, Chuck Norris had referenced every point I made in a short note written and signed inside the book.
I was blown away. This guy could've simply signed his name and collected his money, but he actually prefers to make it personal. Now THAT's a star who appreciates his fans.
