I'm a honeywagon, (dressing room) driver for the studios. I worked with Mr. Williams on the set of, "Step Dad."
Most (not all), of the time, the talent pretty much ignores us, as they're really pretty busy on set.
Robin Williams made it a point to come to me, every morning, and say “Good morning”, ask how my kids were, talk about anything that came to mind.
He was such a nice, unpretentious person, you would forget he was Robin Williams.
He would stop, and sign autographs, take pictures, and speak with the people who would gather around the lines to the point of telling the Director, "Just give me another minute," which is very rare.
A really nice man, with a heart of gold.
